and Today....

So I took the sew out (test embroidery to make sure it will come out nice or if it will still require some work to make it look pro) that I had done prior to making the pillow case in my prior post and since it came out without needing any work I decided to go ahead and surprise the owner of the pillow case with this neck roll. I have never made a neck roll but I think for my first attempt it came out pretty good!!! In addition to this being my first attempt I also did not use a pattern I kinda just guessed. Please don't hesitate to comment!!!

She also provided me with a picture of her new pillow case in action. So glad she likes it :)

This and That

Since the birth of our sweet new baby girl in June I have been able to do some sewing here and there which includes a pillow case (fits that pottery barn toddler pillow), and some personalized luggage tags for our eldest daughter.

This pillow case is reversible I love all things reversible!


and here is the other side..

Our eldest is going on a trip and needed luggage tags she picked out her fabric and I went right to work. I did not use a pattern for this project it took about 1 1/2 hours to make the 3 personalized tags. They came out okay but I feel I still have some kinks to work out.
